What is collected
Contact form. Name, email address, phone number (optional) and the message itself. Only what you type yourself.
Spam protection. A hash of your IP address is kept for 10 minutes so the form cannot be submitted without limit from one address. The original address cannot be recovered from the hash.
Server logs. As on any website, the server records technical data: IP address, timestamp and browser identifier. These are maintained by Hostinger.
Why, and on what legal basis
Data from the contact form is used solely to reply to your message and to prepare a possible engagement. The legal basis is pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest (GDPR, Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
It is not used for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making, and it is never sold or passed to third parties.
How long it is kept
Messages sent through the form stay in the mailbox for as long as handling the matter or the client relationship requires. You can ask for your message to be deleted at any time.
Spam-protection hashes expire after 10 minutes. Server logs are kept according to Hostinger's own policy.
Who else sees the data
Hostinger International Ltd. — website hosting and email. Servers are located within the EU.
Google Ireland Ltd. (YouTube) — the portfolio lives on YouTube. When the page loads, video thumbnails are fetched from Google's servers, which means your IP address reaches Google. Videos are embedded in youtube-nocookie mode and the video itself is only loaded once you press play. Google may transfer data outside the EU under the Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no visitor tracking, no analytics, no ad networks and no social media pixels. That is also why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to ask consent for.
If you press play on a video, YouTube may store data on your device under its own terms.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct inaccuracies, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. Requests to petri@iisivideo.fi.
If you believe your data is being handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Finnish supervisory authority: Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
Changes
If how the site works changes — for instance if visitor analytics are introduced — this notice is updated and the date above changes.
